Antique Set of 6 Dress Shirt Studs Batons Mother of Pearl and Turquoises

An antique boxed set from around 1900 containing six studs or buttons for gentleman's dress items like tuxedo shirts or waistcoats. The studs are round and made of compressed iridescent smokey mother of pearl. They are inset in the center with beautiful cabochon blue Persian turquoise, while the backs of the buttons are mounted in gold gilded metal, likely brass.
The six original gilt metal button fasteners are still intact and unmarked. These buttons possess an elegant and sophisticated appearance, which could add to the overall look of a tuxedo or suit. They come in a navy-blue presentation box, which is decorated with gold and lined with silk and velvet, just as they were originally packaged.
 
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, the box is in very good condition with only minor signs of wear. It still opens and closes beautifully.
