Antique Russian Kustar Pyrogravure & Painted Wood Tobacco Box

Antique, circa 1900 -1930 A.D. Russian Kustar Pyrogravure, hand painted, wood tobacco box of the Abramtsevo workshop. Lid depicts a peasant women sitting in front of a traditional Russian country home. The sides decorated with chequered medallions within floral ornaments. 

  
MEASUREMENTS: Diameter: 11 cm (4.33 inches). Height: 7.5 cm (2.95 inches). 

  
CONDITION: In good condition and shape considering its age, with signs of age and usage, with old dark patina, minor wear.
