Antique 18th Century American Revolutionary War Gun Powder Horn
Antique 18th century America Revolutionary War period gun powder horn, ca. 1770: made of a hollowed-out cow horn, with oval wood base secured with wrought-iron nails and fitted on the center with an iron loop for suspension cord. carved and tapered, turned pouring-spout retaining its original wooden spout-plug with iron loop connected to the horn by an original cord.
CONDITION: In its original unattached condition with a superb mellow old patina.
