Antique 18th century American Revolutionary War Rifleman Gun Powder Horn

Authentic antique 18th century, Revolutionary war period, American rifleman's powder horn, ca. 1770s - 1780; made of a hollowed–out amber- brown color cow horn, with oval wood base secured with small pins, and fitted on the center with carrying ring. Ended with carved beveled nozzle.

 

CONDITION: In its original unattached condition with a superb mellow old patina. Please see the photos as they are a part of the description.

 

MEASUREMENTS: The overall length is approximately: 19 cm (7.48 inches).
