Antique 19th Century Jeweled Nepalese Gurkha Knife Kukri Khukuri
Superb antique 19th century Jeweled Nepalese Gurkha combat knife kukri / Khukuri. A good quality hand forged single edge very sharp steel blade of characteristic re-curved form and graceful profile cut with a short narrow fuller, along the back-edge; mounted in a horn hilt with brass ferula and pommel cup. In its original wooden scabbard covered in Altea Teal velvet mounted with a gold gilt brass large shaped locket and chape richly decorated throughout with filigree and richly adorned with settings of various sizes and shape jewels.

Overall length with the scabbard: 40 cm (14.57 inches)
Overall length without the scabbard: 37 cm (14 1/4 inches)
CONDITION: showing the age and usage, some jewels are missing, scabbard very tight. Otherwise in good condition considering its age of over 100 years.Please see the photos as they are a part of the description
