An ancient Pre-Columbian, Chorrera, culture ca. 9th–5th century B.C. A red-brown terracotta zoomorphic effigy bottle -vessel of elegant compressed form resting on a flat base decorated with a band of incised geometric patterns surmounted by bottleneck in the form of finely sculptured seated Monkey with the legs drawn down, decorated below with a band of incised geometric patterns.
CONDITION: in good condition with no damage or repair showing its age and usage patina.
