Antique Meiji period Japanese Samurai Wakizashi Sword Bone Carved Scabbard
Antique late 19th century Meiji period good quality Japanese samurai wakizashi sword scabbard finely hand carved of Ox bone in relief with Dragons, Ho-o birds and scrolls and signed by artist in oval cartouche. The mouth of the scabbard is mounted with brass collar.
CONDITION: The scabbard is in good condition considering its age to be over 100 years old and shows age and usage. Minor age cracks and chips as common in these types of material. Please notice that the pictures in the listing are part of the description of the condition of the object.
