Antique Chinese, 17th -19th century Qing Dynasty , bronze incense burner - censer of compressed lobed ovoid form body raised on three stump feet, flanked on both sides with stylized handles formed as the heads of chicken, body engraved with wings, the domed pierced cover chased with leaves and surmounted by chicken-form finial.



CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, showing its age and usage. The exterior with dark olive-brown and green patina with some worn areas. The interior with dark brown, gray, green patina. No cracks or restorations, the pin connecting the chicken-form finial to the cover is most likely a later replacement.


MEASUREMENTS: Width across handles: 12.5 cm (4.92 inches). Height: 10 cm (3.93 inches).
