Antique Indian Silver Gold Damascened Steel Reflex Bow 18th C Islamic Mughal
A scarce antique 18th century Northern India, Mughal dynasty period, large Islamic Indo-Persian silver and gold Damascened steel reflex bow "Kaman" of recurved form composed of two hand-forged steel elements connected by a screw in the central rounded handgrip. The limbs of the bow with pronounced string notches.
Overall length: 99.2 cm (39.06 inches)
CONDITION: Showing the age, with nice age patina, silver, and gold damascene inlay worn. However, it is in good condition considering its age to be over 200 years old.

This particular construction of the Indian large steel bow is very rare. We searched the internet worldwide to find if another of this particular form of Indian steel bow is for sale, but we could not find anything for sale by antique dealers, auctions, or private sellers.
It is, therefore, quite possible that our bow is the only one for sale all over the world.
