Authentic antique, late 19th century Japanese, Meiji period cloisonné enamel teapot of inverted baluster form on a tall flared foot, with side handle, long spout and domed lid with a chrysanthemum knob. It is decorated with floral and butterfly motifs on a turquoise and dark blue MEASUREMENTS: Width (handle to spout): 14.5 cm (5.71 inches) Height: 8.9cm (3.5 inches).


CONDITION:

The teapot is in excellent condition overall with nice aged patina, no cracks, chips, restorations, or repairs.
