SOLD Good quality, antique Japanese cloisonne enamel incense burner (koro), with brass mounts Attributed to Honda Yosaburo of Kyoto, Meiji period (late 19th century). The cloisonne koro of squat octagonal form, with square brass collar,base set on four shaped brass feet, finely worked in very fine wire with multicolor enamels and speckled goldstone, with two opposing panels depicting Buddhist Guardian Lions Shishi and ho-o bird.


Condition: The Koro is in excellent condition overall, no cracks, chips, restorations, or repairs.

MEASUREMENTS: Width: 11.5 cm (4.53 inches). Height: 7.2 cm (2.83 inches).
