Ancient Roman 1st - 3rd century A.D. Bronze Jupiter Mask Bust Bust

Ancient Roman, circa. 1st - 3rd century A.D. bronze bust of Jupiter. Depicted from the shoulders up, with well-defined facial details hair, eyes, thick beard and muscular neck and shoulders. Likely was part of a handle from a Roman vessel.
 
HEIGHT: 42 mm (1 5/8 inches).
 
CONDITION: Signs of usage and wear with nice olive-green glossy patina.
 
PROVENANCE: Ex. Old Canadian collection.
