SOLD A rare museum quality antique 18th-19th century Philippine sword bolo in the form of 17th century European Buccaneer-pirate Cutlass with, hand forged iron hilt consists of a knuckle-guard, which is formed by a long, curved, down turned quillon and integral shell guard engraved with scalloped pattern.

The grip carved of a dark brown carabao water buffalo horn, in spirals with zoomorphic pommel with octagonal brass ferrule.

A very well hand forged, curved massive cutlass-like" steel blade, very thick at the spine with notched ricasso is engraved on the outer side with floral design.

Carve wooden scabbard bound with Rattan bands and its original braided carrying cord.
