SOLD Prehistoric Paleolithic Mousterian hand Axe- Celt, of the Homo Neanderthals. Dating to the Middle Paleolithic, France. Circa 90,000–35,000 B.C.

An impressive, heavy and very nicely worked hand axe painstakingly knapped from attractive toffee / honey color flint, it shows the finest skilled workmanship in its profile and flaking

This hand axe is specifically designed to fit in the right hand and features a highly intelligent design.

CONDITION: Showing its age and usage, with age patina, the calcified mineral deposits, strongly visible on the surface of the blade, are strong and excellent indicators of the authenticity of this piece. no repairs or restorations.
