SOLD Pair of antique, 19th century, Turkish Ottoman, Islamic shoes (mules). The upper face made of covered with ruby color velvet, finely hand embroidered in traditional ottoman design with coiled metallic silver and gilt thread, and multi- layered, stacked, leather bottom soles. These wearable mules are truly a beautiful example of Turkish Ottoman embroidery art.
