SOLD Antique 18th century Turkish Ottoman Islamic gun ammunition cartridge pouch of curved rectangular form. The exterior covered with burgundy morocco leather. The front flap finely embroidered in classical Ottoman floral design with silver-wrapped thread. The sides, with remains of its original leather shoulder straps, have brass suspension rings, applied with brass studs. The back adorned with tooled geometric design. The interior fitted with a wood block of 21 holes for holding fragile paper cartridges.

CONDITION: Showing its age and usage, some wear and loss to silver embroidery, a crack in the wood block.
