SOLD A fine antique 18th century Chinese export FAMILLE ROSE 'MANDARIN PATTERN' Punch Bowl Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period (1736-1795).
The exterior is finely hand painted, enameled and gilt with large and small cartouches depicting ladies and attendants at leisure in a garden surrounded by a cell pattern ground. The center of the interior is painted with a clump of flowers.


CONDITION: The bowl shows an area of restoration, has extensive cracks and a chipped rim of the base and is with repairs of old professional restorations. Some wear to the interior restoration white paint. However this is over 200 years old and is in extremely good quality. A large size of a Famille Rose porcelain punch bowl rarely appears for sale.
