SOLD Authentic antique 17th-18th century Islamic Mughal Indian bronze cosmetic container made from several elements whimsically adorned with three peacocks and divided into two yoni-shaped compartments. The top section forms a lid and pivots on a pin at the base of a large peacock. The top compartment is secured by the pressure of the beak of the small peacock.

Dimensions: Overall length: 16 cm (6 1/4 inches) Height; 8.7 cm (3 3/8 inches).

CONDITION: In very good condition with a lovely old patina.
