SOLD Antique British George V Officer’s Silver mounted Pouch and Shoulder belt

SOLD Antique sterling silver mounted British George V Cavalry Officer's Dispatch Pouch - Cartridge Box and Shoulder belt. The curved rectangular mount has an engraved foliate border and an applied brass Royal cipher for George V surmounted by a crown. The bullion decorated leather pouch comes with twin belt loops at both ends and leather belt. The leather belt has sewn onto its gold gild silver lace bullion and is mounted with silver buckle, slider and end plate, silver rosette boss and the “prickers” plate. Silver parts are fully hallmarked with a lion for England, a leopards head for London, and the date marked “P” in a shield for1910 -1911 and the maker’s mark which appears to be “E S & S”.
CONDITION: The prickers and suspension chain which connect the prickers to the rosette are missing. Two Minor point dents and light scratches.
