SOLD Authentic Antique, 19th century Russian Icon. The Kazanskaya Mother of God, Theotokos of Kazan (Our Lady of Kazan) finely hand painted on the wooden panel covered with gilded brass oklad chased and repousse.

Virgin Mary and Christ child depicted in ornate ceremonial robes decorated with engraved motifs, with pierced halos.

CONDITION: In good condition considering its age of 100 years, no repairs or restoration. Absence of the covering back fabric.
