SOLD An interesting antique, 19th century, Persian Qajar Dynasty, large Islamic pottery vase of elegant baluster shape with short neck and flaring rim, painted in coloured enamels with a band of shaped floral cartouches between foliate designs covered with crackle glaze.

The unusual colors, the floral pattern, the Crackle Glaze and the Ginger Jar shape of this vase were inspired by Chinese, Cantonese export ware.
CONDITION: Showing its age and usage with beautiful old patina, chipped on the flaring rim, one small hole on the middle of the body, otherwise intact. No restorations or repairs.
