SOLD Antique, British Victorian, Cocked Hat (Bicorn) from the second half of the 19th century. A cardboard body with black beaver- skin facing, lace trim decorated with acorns and oak leaves to each end, with bullion fittings to the ends, silver braid decoration laid over a plain black rosette with the silver Button adorned with Queen Victoria's Crown in Wreath. With its original white and red feather plume (absence of pocket for the plume). Interior retains the original red fabric lining; the sweatband is missing. In good overall condition. Some slight wear to the beaver skin on the edges.
