SOLD Antique 18th -19th century Turkish Ottoman Tombak - gilt copper alloy snuff box, of cushion form with a hinged lid. The body is decorated overall in a characteristic Ottoman repousse foliate on a punched ground, and richly adorned with red and blue jewels (possibly turquoise and garnets but they could be just glass).

MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 5.7 cm (2 1/4 in). Height: 4.5 cm (1 3/ in.).

CONDITION: Shows signs of usage and wear.
