SOLD A very good quality antique, 19th century, Islamic Middle Eastern dagger, Jambiya Khanjar, Marsh Arabs of Basra area in Southern Iraq, with a long, curved double-edged sturdy steel blade, with a medial ridge.
Horn hilt of elegant form with waisted grip with central knob and typical hooked pommel.
In its original brown tooled, leather covered wooden scabbard with metal chape.
CONDITION: In good condition, overall, signs of usage, with fine age patina.
Overall length in the scabbard: cm 38 cm (15 inches).
Overall length without the scabbard: 36 cm (14.17 inches).
