Antique Late 19th century - early 20th century Central Asian Islamic solid ssilver large necklace torque Afghanistan Kochi – Kuchi Tribe
The Torque is skillfully handcrafted of several elements of sturdy solid silver elements, soldered together and engraved on the surface. The center decorated with three glass beads in domed settings and another bead below and embossed, the ends adorned with two back-to-back bird heads.
CONDITION: In its original condition with a rich dark patina intact and mild natural wear from usage in exposed areas. We had left the patina on the silver. But if someone wants to use this Torque as a necklace, it is very easy to clean up the patina on the surface of the silver.

Weigh: 277 grams (9.77 ounces)
Please note that this is not a common poor quality Kuchi tourist souvenir Torque such as most other Kuchi Torques on the market, but it is of museum quality and considered as Islamic art work.
