Antique 17th-18th Century Islamic Turkish Ottoman Bronze Warhammer

Antique,17th-18th century, Islamic Turkish Ottoman war-hammer head, made of solid bronze with faceted hammer-face, and faced stem, and a pair of short triangular langets and down-curved faced, beak-shaped rear-fluke. The hammer is decorated with incised geometrical pattern and inscribed on the three sides of the head in Arabic alphabet.
 
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length of the head: 13.5 cm (5.32 inches).
 
CONDITION: In its original condition showing the age and usage, with a nice dark patina.
