Ancient Roman 1st - 3rd century A.D. legionary Soldier Silver Ring
Ancient Roman 1st - 3rd century A.D. solid silver finger ring, comprising a D-section hoop with enlarged shoulders, with two raised rectangular platforms, depicting in low-relief double portrait profiles of helmeted Roman Legionary soldiers.
CONDITION: Some wear and minor scratches to the silver, showing its age and usage,dark patina with some encrustation
MEASUREMENTS: Height: 3.6 cm (1 27⁄64 inches). Width: 3.1 cm (1 7⁄32 inches). I am not an expert in the size of rings. The interior of the ring is irregular; however, the diameter of the interior of the ring is approximately: 1.7 cm (17 mm). (approximate US ring size 6 ½ - 6 ¾)
